This 1964 construction was stuck in the past and needed a refresh which was done with an over the top transformation!
n.b. Luckily while working on the bathroom we found a broken rusted out drain pipe which could have been very costly had we not made sure all was working correctly before closing the floor.
New wall to wall tiles and a glass shower to make it look much bigger.
We also moved the sink away from the exterior walls to avoid any pipes from freezing.
One of the things I wanted to keep were these amazing terrazzo stairs.
With no insolation in the basement, we spray foamed, installed new windows and we were ready to proceed.
There were so many different types of flooring and wall coverings, now there is one solid ceramic tile all around, a custom cut brown tile trim all around the perimeter and glass tiles with alcoves and glass shelves.
